Warrior Club Officers and Concessions Co-Chairs Needed for 2019-2020 School Year

Are you the parent of a Sherwood student-athlete?

Do you want to help ensure that all Sherwood athletic programs have everything they need for students to play their sport?

The Warrior Club could use your help!! The Warrior Club exists to help raise money through our membership drives, annual mulch sale, and sponsorships to help pay for facilities’ improvements, field maintenance, new equipment, and training supplies for all of the 45 sports programs. We also put together events to help beautify the school, honor student-athletes playing at the next level, and provide scholarships to senior student-athletes.

Several of our current officers have seniors this year so this means we will have open positions that NEED to be filled. In order to make the transition as easy as possible, we encourage those who are interested to reach out to us and come to a meeting to see what is involved.

The positions that will be open are:

Concessions Co-Chairs (we would like 2 people to head this up)
Fall/Spring Campus Clean-Up Chair (NEW THIS YEAR)

Please help support Sherwood student-athletes and the athletic department!!

The Sherwood Warrior Club is the official all-sports booster club at Sherwood High School that raises funds and rallies support for the 40+ teams that play across three sports seasons. It’s easy to become a member. Click here to learn more about membership.

The Warrior Club, a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization, is comprised of parents and guardians of Sherwood athletes — and fans of Warrior athletics — who are committed to providing our students with the best possible high school athletic experience. We do this by raising money for equipment, field maintenance and other team needs. As you may imagine, the need for maintaining practice and playing fields, the gym, track, other athletic facilities, equipment, and technology to support these teams year-round can far exceed a county budget line item. Maybe your student-athlete has already benefited from the Warrior Club’s work. Some of the investments made possible by your Warrior Club donations include:

  • Softball Scoreboard
  • Lacrosse Scorer’s Table
  • Wrestling Mats
  • Field Hockey Goals
  • Stadium and Practice Field Maintenance
  • Stadium Scoreboard Upgrade
  • Covers for baseball pitching mound/batting area
  • Computer for swim team
  • Solar powered scoreboard for the baseball field, expanded gymnasium scoreboard
  • Gymnastics mats
  • Track & field conditioning equipment
  • Refurbished football helmets
  • New Championship banners for the gymnasium
